The project "Sini Nyesigi" was able to give people with a history of flight and migration an insight into topics of sustainable development in the field of environment, economy and social issues.

The aim of the project was to sensitize the participants to environmental issues and the importance of sustainable development. Global contexts were used to illustrate the causes and effects of climate change and to communicate strategies for a more conscious lifestyle.

A workshop on the production of natural cosmetics as well as excursions to an ecological farm and an apiary were able to consolidate the theoretically imparted knowledge through tangible practice. Since the majority of participants spoke Bambara or French as their first language, we conducted the program in several languages.
