During the event, we will present the key results of the WAVE II project and provide insights into the methods and tools developed in the project for democracy education and the communication of European values in intercultural youth work and youth social work.

You can look forward to an interactive event format with experts, young people and international project partners. The approaches developed will be presented, tried out together and discussed with regard to their application in practice. Guests from Italy, Serbia and Greece will contribute their experiences and perspectives from their respective work contexts.

At the same time, it shows how the objectives and results of WAVE II are embedded in current developments in European youth social work and political education.

15:00 – 15:30 Welcome and gathering first project impressions: Videos, photo exhibition, talks with drinks bar

15:30 – 17:00 Democracy education in practice – interactive method rooms to get to know and try out the project results

17:00 – 17:30 What about European values…
and youth (social) work today – perspectives from practice, partnership and project work

from 17:30 Intercultural evening snack and networking

The event is barrier-free accessible. Please let us know when you register if you have any support or special needs.

The event will be held mainly in German and additionally in English / Language support will be offered if required.

About the project:

The transnational project with seven partner organizations from four European countries aims to develop innovative and practical methods for democracy education in youth work and youth social work. Professionals are to be supported in reflecting and communicating European values in their daily work with young people, especially those with a history of migration.
