Go Go Green

2024

The “Go Go Green” project brings together young people from six European countries to raise awareness of mental health and environmental protection through interactive and hands-on activities. Various activities will be carried out as part of the project, including an NGO market where partner organizations will present national practices and methods to promote young people’s mental health.

Sports activities such as Zumba, yoga and sports games motivate participants to lead an active lifestyle, which is essential for mental health. In international workshops, the young people work together to develop concepts for healthy eating and lifestyle habits.

A particular highlight of the project is the visit to the MET Sport Club in Dalaman, Turkey, where participants gain practical insights into protecting mental health through sport. Cultural excursions and a role-play activity under the motto “My change starts with me” promote an understanding of local traditions and personal responsibility.

Finally, the participants develop digital information materials that serve to disseminate and promote the project goals. “Go Go Green” emphasizes the importance of social inclusion and offers young people, especially those with fewer opportunities, the chance to get actively involved and bring about positive change.
