Bololo Sira – Digital participation for all

2024

The “Bololo Sira” project aims to train people with mental illnesses, particularly young women who have experienced violence and people with psychosomatic symptoms, in digital skills. Over the course of 12 months, 15 participants take part in a weekly three-hour course covering three main topics:

  • Basics in dealing with computers
  • Digital communication and internet use,
  • Online security and data protection.

The workshops are held in a language- and diversity-sensitive environment in order to take into account the specific needs of the target group. The aim is to train the participants to become empowered users of digital media and to turn them into multipliers who can pass on their knowledge. The project promotes social participation and sustainably improves the quality of life of the participants.
