WAVE (What About Values? Youth and Youth Social Work for Young Migrants/Refugees)

2024-2026

The “WAVE” project aims to promote the social integration and participation of young migrants and refugees in Europe. As an important partner, Jama Nyeta e.V. plays a central role in the project, as the organization ensures direct access to the target group through its language and culturally sensitive work. Jama Nyeta supports young people with a migration background by providing targeted advice, educational measures and socio-pedagogical support tailored specifically to their needs.

In addition to Jama Nyeta, other partner organizations from Italy, Greece and other European countries are also part of the project. This collaboration makes it possible to pool proven methods and approaches from different countries and develop innovative strategies to promote the social and political participation of disadvantaged young people.

Under the coordination of the Federal Association of Catholic Youth Social Work (BAG KJS), the “WAVE” project is supported by extensive experience in youth social work and expertise in dealing with EU programs such as Erasmus+. Together with its partners, “WAVE” will help to create sustainable structures for the integration of young migrants and refugees and enable them to actively participate in society.
