Let’s Not Waste Food

2024-2026

The “Let’s Not Waste Food” project brings together young people and youth leaders from six EU countries to improve their knowledge, competences and skills in the field of environmental protection and food waste. Through interactive workshops, simulations and practical visits, participants will learn how to promote positive green habits and take action against food waste as eco-activists and youth leaders.

The project offers a platform for the exchange of national practices in the field of environmental protection and food recycling. Participants will have the opportunity to engage intensively with the environmental impact of food waste through debates, role plays and the “World Café” method. They will also learn about new approaches to reducing food waste by visiting an environmental protection center and participating in a panel discussion with experts.

Particular attention is paid to involving young people with fewer opportunities who are gaining their first experience in the Erasmus+ program and non-formal education. Through the project, we promote their social and organizational skills, raise awareness of cultural diversity and create the basis for long-term international cooperation. “Let’s Not Waste Food” is committed to turning young people into responsible actors in environmental protection and shaping a more sustainable future together.
